The production of metal profiles presents a unique challenge for quality control due to its complexity. Precision is of the utmost importance and it must be ensured that the profiles meet strict standards. The aim of the project is to automate the detection of the smallest geometric deviations and surface finish, combined with intelligent data analysis.
The evaluation of the model's performance metrics using test data sets forms a basis for implementation in practice. When identifying errors in automated machining processes in particular, the focus is not only on quality, but also on efficiency.
